A Faulty Supply Line Caused Major Damage

This home suffered a large water damage due to a supply line from a toilet busting and sending water throughout seven different rooms. One of the rooms that took most of the brunt was the kitchen. The kitchen had hardwood floors that started to absorb the water, which caused the hard wood to buckle up. This means that the subfloor underneath and the actual wood floor has taken in so much water and has expanded, that the only thing the floors can do is swell, which causes the buckled look. When this happens, our crews have to remove the wood flooring in order to get under it to ensure that all materials have been dried properly.
