Sometimes A Fire Requires Major Tear Out
This home had a grease fire in the kitchen. It started on top of the stove, and move upwards to the ceiling, cabinets, and walls. The soot traveled throughout the entire home. We had to demo the entire kitchen which included the ceiling, tile backsplash, cabinets, stove, and microwave. The other affected rooms throughout had to be cleaned. We even set an air scrubber on this job to help "scrub" the air of any left over smoke and burning smells. We use an air scrubber on all fire and smoke damages because of the odors that are trapped and left behind.
